"Some newbie mappers build maps to get their @$$es kissed by other newbies and they do'em that favor and boost their ego. They go to forums, post pics of their maps or a zipfile, newbies come and say stuff like "great", "you rock!!!!!111", "why aren't you hired yet?" or the classic "keep up the good work". With a assbig ego they come to me, link me to the thread with all the comments, and that looks like this:

On some forums it's even like "I can't critisize that guy's map because I can't do better".
That's a pretty sad attitude because it doesn't matter if you can do better. But you know
exactly when you don't like something. Or do I have to say "oh, the german soccer players are soooo damn good[they suck]" just because I can't do better?
I guess, no!
And the guys asking for feedback should not do it for ego boost reasons, just like "I don't like my map, what can I do better?"
NOT like "my map rules, I am the best, gimme good feedback"or you will end up like Dude
. I wouldn't even ask anyone if I was completely happy with my map.
